What started off as a close friendship developed into a wonderful family membership. We were privileged and delighted to welcome Mario into our family and the time we spent together will be memories forever. Mario, thank you for making Penny so happy. Chris and Maryla

    Mario
We will miss you. We always enjoyed our times together. We haven’t known you long but in those few short years we’ve become good friends. We have a date sometime in the future to watch the rocket launches together. Rest in peace my friend. You will not be forgotten, we will meet again.

    Tio,
Forever thankful for all the love and support you so freely gave. You didn’t just say you loved us, you showed us.

    Dad,
Thank you for loving me without question. I thank you for your support from one of our last conversations. I know you loved us all equally and one thought that always comes to mind is when we were all kids and getting ready to see family that you would rub “Violeta’s” in our hair. ( I still keep a bottle in my bathroom and it always puts a smile on my face). I know when you closed your eyes here you opened them to see Abuelo, abuela, Aunt Ruth, Walfredo, Tom G and so many others that loved you that you have not seen in a long time. My tears are for me cause I’m going to miss you for now but we will see each other again. I love to lord as you did so I know we will all be together again. I love you , Dad

It is not easy to say a final good bye to a loved person but in reality is not a goodbye since I hope we are headed to the same place where we will be together for eternity, for that reason, let just say “Hasta la vista” dear Mario

Dad, the example you set for us was instrumental in our successes. Your counsel and love were always abundant. Our weekly chats will be missed.
I’ll miss you, until we see each other again.
    Your son

My partner and love for more than 27 years, Mario was loved and respected by his large Cuban family and our blended family of my children and grandchildren who loved him dearly. He is remembered by all as a perfect gentleman and dear friend and will be always in our hearts

Mario or Mayito, as I used to call him as a child, was my next door neighbor in the 50's and early 60's. I always looked up to him as an older brother. May he rest in the peace of the Lord forever.
