I always remember GRAM as a beautiful woman. I recall when I learned that she lived in St. Martin/Maarten and I thought that made so cool. She was always dressed so lovely and had a peace that surrounded her. She adored her family and she will truly be missed on this earth. But heaven gained a new angel.

    Dear Auntie Marian
You were one of a kind! Unfortunately,it was quite some time since we were able to get together but 43 years ago I lived with you when Pete and I met. We were married in your church and our wedding party was in your house We will always treasure that memory.
I have to say the two years prior living with you was an advenutre. You had a wonderful spirit and were always looking for the beauty and mysteries of the world. You were ahead of your times in those days. I remember going with you to a meeting of mediums in the city. We met some facinating people and briefly touched on psychic phenomina. Then there were your astronomy friends that would come over and discuss the stars and their relationships to our lives. It was an interesting and at times anamazing education. I thank you for the experiences. Life for you was an adventure and you fulfilled most of your dreams. Not a lot of people can say that. You lived life to the fullest and shared so much of your memories with everyone. You were a great lady and I feel honored that You were a big part of my life. I will love and youcherish forever in my heart. Love Diane and Pete

I didn't really know Marianna even though I did meet her a time or two. I know her through her beautiful daughter, Sue, & grandaughter, Jenn. What a legacy to leave behind in these two amazing women!!!! And in Brendan & Kayla & the rest of her family. The stories of how you lived your life astound me! You truly enjoyed life to the fullest & God rewarded you with your beautiful family & long life!!! We should all live as you did, enjoying every precious moment!!! You are surrounded by God's love now as you watch over your family with so much love!!!!

Marion was my aunt through marriage to my mother's brother. When I was a little girl, Marion used me as a model for a Wannamaker's fashion show. I recall thinking she was very glamorous. Her daughters, Sue (or Suzie as I called her when I was little) and Gabby, are my first cousins.

Not too long ago I received a couple of phone calls from Aunt Marion. Something had made her think of my mother, which prompted her to pick up the phone and call me. What a lovely surprise it was to hear from her. I remember her refined way of speaking and her voice. So unique! Marion was a special woman who lived a full and fascinating life. She is missed by all who loved her.

I only met Mariana twice. She was loving, friendly and quite dynamic. I know, in my heart, the angels rejoiced when she arrived on heaven's shore.

I met Sue's Mom at Jenn's bridal shower. She was
outspoken and so lively, I remember thinking she
reminded me of "Auntie Mame" on Broadway. I know
she will be sorely missed by her family and friends
.....heaven is in for a treat!!

Although I haven't seen Marianna in many years a couple of things she had said to me still resonant. I could tell in a very short time of meeting Marianna she had a different persona about her. I thought to myself, wow, it's funny how your mother raises you all that time and sometimes their kids have no similarities of their parents. In other words, Sue and her Mom to me were really not much a like at all, although both great people. What sticks out in my mind is what she said to me once, "Cecilia, you are much lighter skinned then I remember for an Italian". She was "Unforgettable in many ways". May God rock you in his loving arms for eternity! RIP

So many wonderful memories! I don't ever remember a time when I didn't know Marion. Growing up with her Grand daughter Jenn, it was always an exciting time when Gram would come for a visit. She had done so many wonderful things and traveled to exotic places. I remember her teaching us how to pack a suitcase by rolling the clothes so everything would fit & be less wrinkled. She would bring Jenn trinkets from her travels & I always loved seeing them & best of all playing with them. Many years later my husband & I traveled to St. Maarten on our honeymoon, She was so kind to us. We were given a private tour of her island. We went to the best beaches & had a great day. I think Marion lived a fantastic life, she loved her girls, her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. I was blessed to have known her. Marion will truly be missed but never forgotten. Love to you always, thanks for being such a memorable part of my childhood.

Aunt Marion, I remember when I was little and went over to visit Annette, Tante Louise, Rene', Christine and Harry and LOVED when you came over with Susie and Gaby. Not only did I love your daughters but I loved watching you - you were so alive!, beautiful, with makeup and bangle bracelets and other jewelry. I was mesmerized by you. I am so glad we got to spend Thanksgiving together when we lived in NH and you all came over to the house. It was like no time had passed at all. :) You will be dearly missed by so many - including Gary and I but I know in my heart you are lighting up Heaven with your vibrant personality! Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Mom....you have given us so much it's hard to find a place to start - you gave us the appreciation of anything beautiful - a beautiful scene, an old house, a butterfly - it didn't really matter because there was something beautiful in anything if we looked hard enough. You gave us appreciation of good music - from the swing sounds to Cole Porter to Frankie....you loved them all. You gave us appreciation for good food (especially dark chocolate, hot chocolate, coffee milkshakes, etc.) and you taught us to always go the extra mile (not sure if I loved that motto but I followed it nonetheless). How you will be missed mom - just talking to you about my day, etc. But your legacy lives on in Gaby and I, in our children and in their children as well. Love/miss you so much mama.....your "miracle child" Susie!

My Gram is someone EXTRA special. She has always been one of a kind. She shared so many memorable times with me. I am so grateful!
She loved watching me Dance, and always told everyone I was the most beautiful dancer, however I was too tall! She loved when I dress up and had beautiful costume jewerly on. The last 7 years living in Florida have really brought my Gram and I sooooo sooooo close. She was so proud to be a Mom, and Gram, however what made her the Most proud is she was a Great- Grandmother. My precious kids called her Great Mimi and she loved spending time with Brendan and Kayla. Her smile was so bright when they were around.
I am so lucky to have my Gram with me for my 42 years of life. Everytime we spend time together she always wanted to know what was new. She loved hearing about Ed and the kids.... and she always wanted us to be happy. When Ed opened his store, she had such a peace in her heart, because she was hurting when we were hurting.
Gram, you will live on in me. Your learnings and stories will be with me forever. Thank you for giving me the bubble of White Light that will always surround me and protect me.
I know you are happy now, and I know you are watching down on all of us.
    Your darling, Jennifer
