Obituary

Marjorie Buchanan age 90 of Edgewater, FL departed this life  on May 24, 2013 at Southeast Volusia Hospice Center. She was born Jan. 27, 1923 in Homestead, Fl to Mollye and Leroy Roberts. She was a faithful member of Central Church of Christ in NSB. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her. She was a woman as described in Proverbs 31.   She owned and operated Margie’s Beauty Shop on Canal Street in NSB for many years before moving the shop to Palmetto St.   Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Madeline Melvin, nephew Danny Melvin and her late husbands Bill Morgan, Joe Eskew, and Frank Buchanan.   Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Lyle (Jane) Eskew of NSB and Tommy (Lori) Eskew of Edgewater; four grandchildren Kim Eskew, Edgewater, Priscilla (Jeffrey) Spradling, Sandrock, Alabama, Johnny (Kristy) Eskew, Edgewater, and Ashley Freeman, Port Orange, FL along with seven great grandchildren.   Life Celebration will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 28 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. The family will receive friends starting at noon. Burial will follow at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery.   I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith-finally there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the righteous Judge will give me on that day. 2 Tim 4:7-8   Flowers will be accepted or contributions in her name to the Hospice of Volusia/Flagler SE Care Center 4220 S. Ridgewood Avenue Edgewater FL 32141.

Dear Family, I am so very sorry about the loss of your dear loved one. May the thought at Job 33:25 give you comfort in knowing that Mrs. Buchanan will return to the days of her youth and be able to enjoy life without the infirmities of old age. My sincere condolences to you.

Love to you and each one in the family. God is our comfort at this time of sorrow. My mamma Margie, a wonderful special and truly God loving spirit, will be missed here on this earth. She is at home now and at rest. We will strive to see you again. Let's take delight in the wonderful memories of a beautiful and thoughtful child of God.
