Obituary

Mark Nicholas Hall, 53, of Fort Thomas, KY passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at his home in Winter Garden, FL surrounded by his loving family after a battle with brain cancer. He was born on October 16, 1970, in Cincinnati, OH to Wilbur “Dean” and Margaret (nee. Geiger) Hall.

Mark graduated from Newport Central Catholic High School in 1990. He was a Letter Carrier for The United States Postal Service for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family by visiting Disney World, traveling to the beach, and taking cruises. He was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds, and enjoyed attending games with his family.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur “Dean” and Margaret Hall; paternal grandparents Wilbur and Olive Hall; and maternal grandparents Nicholas and Frances Geiger. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Amy (nee. Fryer) Hall; son Nicholas Hall; daughter Ashley Hall; brothers, Larry (Carol) Hall and Chris (Sue) Hall; sisters, Tracy (Kevin) Egan and Carrie (Jarvis) Edwards; mother and father-in-law Dan and Connie Fryer; brother-in-law Dan (Terri) Fryer; as well as 7 nieces and 8 nephews.

A visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at St. Therese Church, 11 Temple Place, Southgate, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am with Rev. Michael T. Grady, officiating. Entombment will take place following the mass at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to be made to Newport Central Catholic High School at 13 Carothers Rd, Newport, KY 41071 or to the Glioblastoma Foundation at https://glioblastomafoundation.org.
