Mark was one of the finest men we knew. He was very caring and loving and always stayed positive no matter what he was going through. Dan and I met him & his first wife Carol at a car show when we all lived in St Cloud Florida in 2001 and later we also moved to The Villages where he had moved and we would see him periodically esp at car shows. We met his new wife Rebecca at IHOP breakfast and it was nice to see he was happy and enjoying life to its fullest. He loved his family so much. Mark, you were always loved and such an inspiration and you will be truly missed. I can see you smiling up in Heaven. R.I.P.

    Rebecca.
I'm devastated by this tragic news. Mark was one of the most vibrant and enthusiastic people I think I've ever met. Since I first met him in 2013 I've kept in touch via emails of interest and he always responded with a big THANK YOU. In 2016 I had the pleasure of meeting one of Mark's many friends, Udo Horn. The stories he told me about he and Mark's trips to Bonneville for the salt-flat races were classic.

My most vivid memory of Mark was "racing" down Buena Vista one Thursday night in the dark some years ago . Me, in my C7 and he in his '63 Split-Window. I tried my best to keep up but, given his driving skills, I simply couldn't keep up. Mark always had a smile on his face and something positive to say about nearly everything. Men like him are truly hard to find. He'll be missed by many, I'm sure. My heart goes out you Rebecca. You entered his life at at time when he really needed someone like you. I know the love you and he shared brought happiness to your both.
