Obituary

We are sad to announce the passing of our daughter Marlo Marie Adrian of Sarasota. She died unexpectedly at the age of 54 on November 5th, 2022.

Marlo is survived by her three children Jesse Rheal, Neil Gondeck, and Walter Gondeck; her mother Gretchen Thies and step-father Randy Thies; her father Loren (Ruth) Adrian; her sister Allison (Randall) Bowman; her aunt Jackie and uncle Todd; her aunt Iris; her uncle Ken and aunt Darlene.

Marlo was born in Michigan City, Indiana on September 8th, 1968. She graduated from Elston Senior High School in 1986. She took on many different positions throughout her career including most notably working at Disney World and eventually as a flight attendant for American Airline.

Marlo was very dedicated to her family and friends who she loved dearly. Marlo was very creative and talented in arts and crafts. She expressed her personality through her hobbies including painting, felting, and sculpting. She would show her love for others by gifting her creations that she poured many hours into.

Those that knew her would agree that she lit up every room she walked into with her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. She loved helping others and always made an effort to lift others up whenever the opportunity arose.

There will be a Celebration of Life on December 17th from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 7461 Prospect Road, Sarasota, FL 34243. You may make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in place of sending flowers as per her request.

My beautiful daughter is missed every minute of the day, her joyous laughter and sweet smile, hugs and love. She watches over us constantly with her Grandma Arlene and Grandpa Harvey and cousin Heather. The angels have a sweet one among them. I love her so much. She is singing along with her Grandma and Grandpa. They all have beautiful voices.
