Marsha Lynn Cook, 69 of Deland, Florida went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 11, 2022. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and loved ones.
Lynn was born in Leesburg, Florida on June 19, 1952. She was the daughter of JP and Juanita Davis of Webster, Florida who both predeceased her. She grew up and attended local schools in Sumter County and graduated from South Sumter High School. Lynn relocated to Volusia County and married her husband of 42 years, Buddy Cook in 1978 who preceded her in death in May 2021.
Lynn retired from the Volusia County Clerk of Court’s Office. She was a former Volunteer Firefighter for Volusia County Fire Services. She enjoyed arts and crafts, working on her flowers, cooking, baking (she was always baking a cake for Buddy) and you could always find a puzzle in progress on one of her tables. She loved decorating her home inside and out for all of the holidays. Christmas was by far her favorite. Her greatest joy and happiness was spending time with her family. She was loved by so many and will forever be in our hearts.
Lynn is survived by her Children, Troy Huggins (Patty), Vern “Dave” Cook (Kris), Kim Turner (Jeff). Grandchildren, Calvin Huggins (Cassie), Stephen Huggins, Taylor Cook, Emily Turner, Clay Turner (Desirae), Michael Jeannotte (Melissa), Briana Jeannotte (Trevor), Andrew Jeannotte (Isabella) . Great Grandchildren, Andrew Allan Turner, Bellarae Elizabeth Turner, and her brother, Preston Davis (Karen).
A Celebration of Life will be held with close friends and family.
