Obituary
Martha (Marty) K. Konechny (83) passed away November 5, 2025. Marty was a long time resident of Ormond Beach, Florida; also a long time resident at Madison Glen Senior Community.
She was born in Yonkers, New York on February 9, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother.
Marty was a stylish person, her apartment was always immaculately clean. She was a good designer and always coordinated everything. She was a prep cook and hotel maid. She loved animals and before her illness, had four dogs who brought her much joy. While at the Terrace Nursing Home, she looked forward to having the service dog from hospice come to see her.
She adopted Joyces’ great niece Mila Bella and great nephews, Teddy & Finn as her own. It made her happy to see new photos of them and enjoyed sending them gifts on their birthdays and Christmas. Marty also enjoyed watching tennis, golf and game shows on TV.
Marty will be missed by her many friends.
Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home are handling her cremation per her request.
