Life Celebration for Mary Angela Wise, Edgewater who died January 4, 2017 will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL. Mary was born in Baltimore, MD. She came here in 1989. She was a graphics designer. Mary enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a member of Lonesome Losers Social Club. She is survived by her husband Matthew Wise, mother Mary Smith, children Michael Patrick Burdette, Benjamin DeStefano, Paul Destefano, two grandchildren, brothers George Hallowell, Daniel Hallowell, Michael J Burdette and cousins, uncles, aunts including Christine Scannell, Teresa Hensley who were her caregivers. While these photo’s show how beautiful she was to look at, I’d like to show you with my words, how beautiful she was of heart and spirit, First of all instead off falling into a rut of continual pity parties, Angela kept herself busy…. helping others when she could. I have organized about 25 fundraisers and she volunteered for everyone of them!  In some form or another, soliciting donations, arranging a back up band, or helping with the cooking and serving, she made herself available. She handled her illness with dignity and grace that is rarely seen today. She knew her days were limited and decided to live and enjoy those days even when it exhausted her. She had three sons whom she loved dearly. Not always easy being a Mom, and it’s a lot tougher when you are ill. She met that challenge head on and considered it to be the best the best thing she could do with the life God gave her. I doubt she had any idea how many lives she touched. I will miss her until my dying day.
