Obituary
Mary D. Boima, 76, passed away Monday June 28, 2021, in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was born Friday, June 1, 1945, in Starke, Florida to parents O.C. Clayton and Elizabeth Sanders. Mary attended Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan and would go on to work as a Financial Analyst at Bank Co America, and then later worked as a Health Care Provider. In 2014 she moved to Florida from Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Mary loved to go and spend the day at the beach or to go camping. She also enjoyed both traveling and seeing the world. She also enjoyed staying closer to home to knit or to go fishing at Flagler Pier. Mary loved God and was a Prayer Warrior and Church Greeter. She was a parishioner of Brightmoor Christian Church of Novi, Michigan and then after moving to Florida, was a faithful member of Horizon Church Jerry Barnard leadership in Daytona Beach, Florida. Mary also loved her friends and family very much and was dedicated to caring for people.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Martha Lindsey (Walter) of Ormond Beach, Florida, Jacquelyn Grooms of Wisconsin, and Sherill Glover of Tampa, Florida, her brothers, Randy Clayton of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Lonnie Johnson (Valerie) of Jacksonville, Florida, Robert Austin, Jr. (Gail) of Starke, Florida, and Ronnie Austin (Lonnie) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her 2 life-long friends, Mary Brooks of Southfield, Michigan, and Ann Von of Detroit, Michigan.
Mary is dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
