Mary Brockman Ewing, 84, of Daytona Beach Shores, FL passed away September 23, 2010 in Winter Park, Florida, following a brief illness. Born in Atlanta, GA on July 28, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam A. (Al) Ewing; her father and stepmother Mr. & Mrs. Polk C. Brockmam, her mother Ms. Dorothy J. Morris and three sisters. She attended Montreat Prepatory School, Asheville, NC and Brenau College, Gainesville, GA. She is survived by her son Sam F. Ewing, Winter Park, FL; daughters Eunice Ewing Neale, Shingle Springs, CA and Debbie Ewing Kindle, Gate City, VA; sister Barbara Brockman McClenney, Winter Park, FL; Grandchildren Christie Meridith Kempher, Brad Meridith, Richard Lapp, Greg Lapp, Vickie Lapp; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hope & Help Center, 1915 Woodcrest Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792.
Private Services for the family will be held at a later date.
She was a beautiful, real "lady".
