Life Celebration for Mary Jane (nee. Zumbrun) Yaney, 93, New Smyrna Beach FL who died January 26, 2014 will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Coronado Community United Methodist Church 200 S Peninsula Avenue New Smyrna Beach. The Reverend Bob Brown will officiate. Mary Jane was born in Whitley County IN, was raised on a farm near Churubusco, Indiana, was married and raised her family in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then came to New Smyrna Beach in 1969. She was active at CorMeth Church where she taught at the day school, counted Sunday collections as a volunteer for many years and was a member of the Young At Heart Club. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Douglas Yaney, Susan Kline, John and Bonnie Yaney, Sally and Rocky Jowers, all of New Smyrna Beach, sister Edith Brown of Philadelphia, grandchildren Greg and Allison Kline, Reece and Laike Jowers, Johnny and Kim Yaney, Josh and Alison Yaney, Ren Yaney, great grandchildren Alex Kline and Sarah, Jacob and Trenton Yaney, all of whom live in Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, James Edward Yaney. Memorial donations are requested to Coronado Community United Methodist Church 200 S Peninsula Avenue New Smyrna Beach FL 32169 Church: www.coronadoumc.org Florist: www.newsmyrnabeachflorist.com/ Flowers are not necessary, but for those of you who need a florist, the church has recommended New Smyrna Beach Florist.     Sorry to read of your Mom's passing. I was so happy to see her when I returned to Florida and started volunteering at Oceanview. It was so wonderful to see her again after so long. We did some catching up it was fun. God be with you all in your sadness. Dolores
