I was fortunate enough to know Ms. Sando at Pembroke HS (class of 1987). She was, by far, my favorite teacher and coach at Pembroke. I have wonderful memories of her and I know she loved all of the students she taught and the athletes that she coached. I did get to see her after HS a few times, once at her home in New Smyrna Beach. Great lady!!!!!

ML (what most of her golfing buddies called her) will always be remembered for her great stories, fabulous smile and amazing attitude. ML accepted her fate without complaint. ML you'll be with all of us forever. AND we will continue to swear in Polish in honor of you. We know you'll be laughing with us. Love you!!!!

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Vinnie and the family. I was a senior when "Jake" came to Pembroke, she was a wonderful coach and mentor. Many of the girls who played sports for her attended their wedding the summer of 64. We would stop at their apartment on Cherry St. and visit often. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

    To family,
My sincere condolences .There is no greater pain than the death of a loved one. Sometimes it seems almost more than a person can bear. Jehovah God helps us with this in His word. He promises us that He will put a stop to all sickness and death will be no more (REV 21;3.4) Jehovah shows His love for us through the ransom sacrifice of His beloved son Jesus Christ. What a wonderful gift to be given ! Then the hope of seeing one's loved ones again on this earth transformed in a paradise as it was Jehovah's will when He created Adam & Eve .

    Vinny:
My sincere sympathy in your loss of "Jake"' as my Betty use to call her.
They must be both enjoying themselves as they did back at Brockport.
It's was eight years last Monday Betty left.
You keep your chin up --not easy the first few months. God bless

Mrs. Sando was one of the best gym teachers. In my senior year we had to complete a biography and she was my advisor. She was always firm but what a loving heart. I will miss her and always remember the fun times in gym class at Pembroke Central. Prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
