On Friday the 13th of October 2023 after 96 years and 49 days on this earth Mary Lou Johns finally gave up her fight and peacefully passed in the presence of her loving children ….Marty (Kathie) …..Greg (Barbara) …Eric…..and Jill Wells (Chuck)……Mary Lou was born on August 25th 1927 in the rather small town of Angola, Indiana ……As an adult she was principally involved with the banking industry……she lived/worked in many places (Tonnowanda, NY….Neenah, WI….Lenox, MA….High Cliff, WI…..Roswell, GA) as her husband Warren, Jr (married 1949) moved up the Corporate ladder with Kimberly-Clarke….. eventually Mary Lou moved to “THE VILLAGES” in 2016 with her youngest son and health Care Provider Eric who actually lived with her his entire life….Mary Lou loved to travel both Domestically and abroad….Her international trips included Scotland, Iceland, New Zealand, Greece and Turkey….her love to journal and chronical her adventures is illustrated by the dozens of albums she created about her trips……Later in life when the airline traveling days were over she and Eric visited each and every Greyhound Track in America ….kind of an homage to Caine and Jane their own beloved rescue Pets….the final real travel phase was to search out and cross and of course photograph as many Covered Bridges as this country has ever built and they discovered lots of them…..Mary Lou was a very faith driven person and most recently a member of the NCUMC in The Villages…..Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband of 37 years Warren (1986) her Brother Ralph H Martin (2008)  Sister in Law Patricia L (2019) Brother in Darl Johns (xxxx) and Sister in Law Adell (xxxx) and niece Diane Tuttle (2012) ….In the Spring of 2024 a memorial service will be planned in return her to her first and most special home back in Angola, Indiana where she can Rest In Peace for eternity with her husband “Junior.”  Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449.  Sentiments are encouraged at
