Obituary
The world lost a beautiful soul. Mary Erin McGloin passed on July 8th after a battle with cancer and kidney failure for over 6 years. She passed peacefully in Sarasota, Fl the place she called home for over 20 years. She is preceded by her father, Eugene McGloin, sister Patty Augone, mother Joan McGloin and brother Christopher Rysdale. Mary was the life of the party. She had an infectious laugh and could light up a room with her energy and smile.
Born in Hempstead, NY on 3/24/64 MaryErin was a NewYorker thru and thru. She was proud of where she came from and never lost that accent. She loved rock n roll, anything psychedelic and brightly colored and Harley Davison. She firmly believed good music and an ice cold Budweiser (in a bottle, on ice) could turn the worst day into the best night. She was a free spirit and loved her friends, family and animals. Mary never met anyone she couldn’t talk to, they wouldn’t be strangers for long. She will be dearly missed by all the friends she’s met along the way. May her spirit continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her to be true to their authentic, unique selves and just be happy. MaryErin’s family will hold onto the memories of her closely.
She leaves behind her husband and best friend, Tom Bryant, brothers Eugene and Kenneth McGloin, nephew Michael Augone, daughters Teresa (Randy) and Toni Bryant, her grandchildren, Theresa Ann (Shane) and Joseph Burnett Jr, Remi, Thomas and Ezekiel Lerma, and great grandchildren, Tatum and Elias. Celebration of life details will be posted on FB or by contacting Renee Gourley. Our family appreciates the kind words during this time. We know what a special human Mary was and take comfort in knowing she was loved by so many. Til we meet on the other side, PEACE ✌️
