Obituary
Mary Dell (Otto) Cuthbertson Pitts passed away on September 5, 2022 in Fort Myers, FL following an extended illness. Mary was born the youngest child of William Otto and Nina Marie (Cook) Otto on September 12, 1932 in Wheeling West Virginia.
Mary is survived by daughter Vicki (John) MacIntyre, son William (Kimberly) Cuthbertson, Son-in-Law Anthony Genshock; 10 grandchildren: Jessicah (Charles) Bullock, Kristin (Trent) Spangler, Joshua MacIntyre, Alicia MacIntyre, Emily (Matthew) Ring, Megan (Brian) McPherson, Travis (Samantha) Genshock, Eric (Amy) Genshock, David Cuthbertson, and Michael Cuthbertson; 11 Great Grandchildren – Luci & Levi Bullock; Gabriel, Stella, Charlotte & Mac Spangler; Ella & Nora MacIntyre; Kamble MacIntyre; Bayr & Indy Ring; Jake & Brynn McPherson; Barrett & Beau Genshock; Mio & Yuto Cuthbertson, Kassie Jenkins; 8 nieces & nephews and good friend Audrey Roth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings William Otto, Alberta (Lester) Roxbury, Kenneth (Edna) Otto, Wanda (James) Ferrell; husbands James Cuthbertson (1984) and Joseph H. Pitts (2008); son James Daniel Cuthbertson (2008), daughter Connie Rae (Anthony) Genshock (2017); nieces Judy Perkins (2019) and Marsha Perkins (2021).
Mary was a longtime resident of Hudson and Northfield, Ohio, and of Muncie, Indiana. Her final home was in Fort Myers, Florida.
She enjoyed worked in the accounting department of Mactac in Stow Ohio for many years until her retirement.
Prior to her illness, she was an avid dancer, enjoyed playing cards and traveled throughout the country.
A dinner celebrating Mary’s life will be announced at a later date
In leau of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to ITOWN CHURCH (Olson Farms Indiana), Make a Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
