Mary Teresa DiRienzo, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and moved to Florida in 1978. She is preceded in death by her late husband Christie P DiRienzo. She is survived by her daughter Patricia DiRienzo Mucciolo and two grandchildren Jamie Marie Mucciolo and Michael Christopher Mucciolo.
Mary was “Mrs. D” to the kids in our neighborhood in the late 60’s early 70’s - “Lovejoy” in Buffalo New York – she had a Charm School for the girls in the neighborhood, organized dances, took us camping … all this to keep us busy and off the streets.
Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. “Nonnie” loved time spent with her grandchildren and participated in all of their growing up activities.
Auntie Mary always enjoyed visits from nieces and nephews and always held them very dear to her heart.
She loved to cook and especially loved to share what she cooked; she would put her homemade creations in containers and take to family and friends.
She enjoyed the beauty of butterflies, collected angels, loved the smell of roses and enjoyed watching the birds in the back yard.
Mary enjoyed dancing. She especially enjoyed dancing to the tunes of the 50’s (jitter bug was her favorite). As she grew older she enjoyed the Big Band Swing Songs.
Mary had a wonderful sense of humor in good times and in the toughest times she had that way about her that would make you chuckle.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be missed; we know heaven has another angel.
Celebration of life will be private with grandchildren and daughter and in the fall with family members where she will be with her husband Chris at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York
Seeing death as the end of life
is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean.
