Obituary

Matthew Walter Foster, 90 New Smyrna Beach FL and a former resident of Port Orange FL for 27 years died Saturday, August 7, 2010. Matthew was born in New York City. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post 400. He was also a member of All Saints Lutheran Church Port Orange, Halifax Cruise Club since 1980 and an avid boater loving anything to do with boating. He retired from the Prudential Insurance as a sales manager in 1980. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years Helen, daughter Kathy Foster of Norfolk VA, son Terry and wife Evie of Virginia Beach, VA and two grandchildren Kyle and Aspen.   Memorial donations are requested to All Saints Lutheran Church Dunlawton Avenue Port Orange FL 32127. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, August 11 at All Saints Lutheran Church Port Orange.

    We were so glad to have the opportunity to meet Matthew and Helen last summer at Kyle and Mari's wedding. You have a wonderful grandson, and we are so happy he is now a part of our family as well. Thank you for a life well lived.
