Mom was a fun loving and unique and creative person. There are so many good memories of her while growing up. One is that she liked to make interesting cakes for our birthdays; animal shapes, etc. She liked to pick berries and make homemade jam and canning. She enjoyed doing home projects, like decorating. She eventually became a very independent woman who took charge of things. She went to college to become an LPN and worked as a home health care provider for some time. She was crazy about dressing up for Halloween and usually made her own costumes. She’d get her stomach painted up like a face and dance as a “Top Hatter” for the VFW. Very funny person. I’ll miss you Mom!
