Obituary

We lost Melissa Anne Evans who departed this world leaving behind first and foremost her daughter Jocelyn Evans, sister and brother Barbara Kendrick and Jason Wilson(Alana), their children, Stacey Evans and Meagan Johnnie(Doug), Hunter Wilson and Mason Wilson, and grand(dog)son Griffin as well as many other extended family and friends, she is preceded by her mother Linda Wilson and father Dwight Wilson, she transitioned from one journey to the next and in that we are left with a wondering, a sorrow, and grief, but in her own spirit she would say this life is short and beautiful, celebrate her life, and keep her memory alive with love and quality time, speak to the trees and winter breeze, be spontaneous and take lots of pictures, even if only for a lasting memory. Forever in our hearts may your beautiful soul always be, rest in heaven.

Melissa you always walked your own path and did it your way. You were strong steadfast, determined and very independent, I liked those qualities in you. You always treated me with the utmost respect when we did get to see each other and for that I will always be grateful. I’m sure you’re in a much better place than any of us here on earth are, no pain no worries and always able to watch over your loved ones now. R.I.P. you are now with our lord and savior. Many prayers for your family during their loss and you beautiful daughter. As you use to call me, Aunt Paula

To my beautiful niece, I know you know how much I love you and will miss you. You were my mini me, always challenging me to take another step forward, always inspiring me with your hunger for knowledge. Your compassion was above any other. Your willingness to help others, I know how many times you have been there for me and I can’t count how many others. Rest, you are home. I know our family was there with open arms to welcome you. So fly high my “Butterfly” with them until we meet again and fly together once more. Until then I will hold you in my heart everyday, for Love is the only thing eternal❤️, I will Love you always, Aunt Susie.

Dearest Melissa, you walked alone by your own choice, but we were always with you in spirit. Your brilliant smile could light up the darkest day, your beautiful heart cared for so many! I will always remember our times together, the crazy young times and the adult times that ended too soon! You are with your mom and dad now... your pain and sorrow is gone! Fly high sweet friend!
