Michael “Mike” E. Bowes, 62, of DeLeon Springs, passed away on August 8, 2021, surrounded by family. Mike was born on December 14, 1958, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Scott and Linda Bowes. He graduated Deland High School class of 1976.
Mike was always the life of the party. Mike was an avid fisherman who loved the beach, classic Rock-N-Roll, and playing the drums. Mike worked as Plant Manager at Seco Dairies Deland. He worked at Seco Dairies for 24 years. He also worked at Lowes in Ormond Beach until his passing.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Lorraine Haynes, grandmother, Shirley Vanhorne, his aunt, Kay Haynes, stepdaughter, Tammy Clayton, sister-in-law, Linda Cafaro, and nephew, Chuck Cafaro.
Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley Bowes, son, Steven Bowes (Moriah), parents, Scott and Linda Bowes, brother, Tom Bowes(Michelle), sister, Chris Rhodenbaugh (Steve), stepsons, Tom Crow and Trent Lamp, 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Roger and Debbie Tenant, and several nieces and nephews.
