Michael David Fraser, 62, of Port Orange died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Halifax Medical Center with his wife by his side.  Michael was born September 29, 1948. He attended University and was drafted into the United States Army where he proudly served for 20 years until his retirement. Michael’s service to his country defined him and made him a better man.  He traveled extensively while in the military and enjoyed learning about the different cultures and traditions in each country.  After he retired from the military he made his home in Port Orange where he met and married the love of his life, Joy Scott.   Together they enjoyed boating and the outdoors. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Joy; son, Bronson Fraser; sister, Stacey and brother-in-law, Joe Boduah and several nieces and nephews.  When thinking of Michael in the days to come take time to place an American Flag pin on your lapel or in your yard and remember what Michael has done for you and our country.  Private Family services to be held
