Michael, how I wish I had taken the time to have reached out and had one more conversation texting keeping in touch.
I wish I had been able to see you when you came to Birmingham last year to see Darwin & Maxine.
When we were young, I loved being your cousin and I will always remember that wonderful smile that probably warmed everyone’s heart you met. You will always be loved and forever missed.

My sweet brother meant the world to me. He always had a great story to share, and I loved to hear him laugh. He made me, his little sister, feel much more special than I am, and I will miss his encouragement, love, hugs and his beautiful, mischievous smile. His passion for fishing was contagious and he loved hooking a fish and letting my son reel it in. Nobody could hook a fish like Mike and my son loved the time they had together. We lost him too soon but the love and memories I have of him will last a life time.
