Michael Clark Parfitt 69, of Ormond Beach passed away November 3, 2019.  Born in Columbus, Ohio ,Michael is the son of the late Harry and Florence Parfitt. He honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.  After his discharge he worked as a police officer and was a volunteer Firefighter for Dale City Volunteer Fire Department, Dale City Virginia for over 20 years and served as their Deputy Chief.  He also worked as an IT Data Base Analyst for Chase Bank. Michael was the #1 Ohio State Buckeye fan always cheering for Ohio State.  He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid history buff.  His family will always remember his loving personality and the fun he had being the family jokester .  Michael was a devoted family man and had a special love for his dog Jakie.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife Shirley; children, Ryan M. Parfitt  and Sandra Singleton (Dan Singleton), both of Daytona Beach; brother, Robert Parfitt, of Columbus, OH and 4 grandchildren, Brianna Singleton, Miya Parfitt, Heaven Singleton and Brianna Parfitt.  At this time a memorial service is being planned.
