Obituary

Michael R. Graham
Veteran

Michael passed away October 6, 2020 after a brief battle with Covid-19. He was 67 years old.

Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio to Mildred Esther Keeney and Ira Alonzo Graham. Michael was the third of six children and the eldest male.

Michael was drafted into the Military and chose the Air Force for which served 20 years. During Michael’s station at Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida he met his soon to be wife Cathie Wilson. They were married a few months after meeting and was married a month shy of 46 years at Michael’s passing. Michael and Cathie were blessed with two children a boy Christopher and girl Heather. Military life was good to them and they were able to travel and see some of the world.

Michael worked for Ford of Ocala for 13 years as a service advisor. He loved working with his customers. He rarely went anywhere in Ocala and someone would come up to him asking how he’s been and they would be seeing him soon at Ford. His customer really appreciated his integrity and honesty and friendliness.

Michael loved his family and spending time with them. He loved fishing and traveling. The only thing he did without his family was play golf which he dearly loved. Michael loved singing and music and even sang on three albums with his high school chorus.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Ira Graham. He is survived by his beloved wife Cathie Graham, son Christopher Graham and daughter Heather Tryon and six grandchildren Dalton, Destanie, Kyanna, Caleb, Cali, Conner. He is survived by his siblings Esther/Jim Owens, Shirley/Jim Tuckey, Patricia Kane, Lisa/Jeff Collins, Mark/Josua Graham and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

Just finding out and my heart is heavy. I worked with Cathie for 5 years and knew how hard Cathie worked and loved how much quality time she spent with Mike and her family. Mike was a sport and took me and Cathie to a Barry Manilow concert in Tampa. After working with Cathie I ran into Mike and met them at kareoke. Cathie, You touch so many. I pray you now feel our love.

I'm very sorry for your loss ! Mike was my service writer at the Ford store since we moved to Ocala in 2004, he was always very good to me , we swapped stories about what restaurant to go eat at and joke about customers and employees. He always talked about his family and how much he loved them, I know you'all will miss him and I will miss him too, like I did today when I stopped by the Ford store and he wasn't there. I'm very glad I got to meet him and work with him on my vehicles over the years. He was very trustworthy and honest and I will miss that. I wish you all the best !
