My condolences to your family in your loss. MIke was the favorite uncle. I remember the good times we had as children visiting Rochester. Mike's sisters adored him and he was really good to them. Sad to think that generation has passed on. Joyce

    Jim Isaac says:
Dear Rohde Family. Please accept my concolances along with the others who knew and respected Mike Rohde. Mike stood by me when my father passed away at an early age and I was left to run the family heating business. Without his help and guidance, I seriously doubt that I would have been successful.

    Donald Pero says:
Reading of Mike Rohde's passing in The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle brought back many fond memories of working with him at RG&E, sharing at St Cecilia's Church, being a neighbor and a friend. His kindness and generosity were real and personal. He designed the heating system when I built my home and it has been ahead of its' time for 50 years. I note he was still a handsome man who aged gracefully and I thank daughter Pat for her baby sitting for us. Our Prayers are with him and his family. God Bless!

I worked at RG&E (Dave Whitlock) in the Industrial Dept., right next to Mike. What a wonderful man! I worked with him on a project to save homeowners gas money by making their furnaces "smaller". Mike was a wonderful model to try to imitate.
