Mike was our next door neighbor. I will always remember him as the king of Plunkett Street. Always outside, with a big smile on his face, a cold one in his hand, a variety of his favorite music playing. He always made us laugh & always looked out for us. He liked to conversate & in those conversations I learned alot of different things from him. Rest in peace Mike.

Mike was my next door neighbor for 5 years, and him and Marylou felt more like family as the years passed. He was certainly a staple on Plunkett Street, always on the porch with a big smile or a funny story to greet us when we came home, and always keeping a watchful eye out on the block. I will never forget all the fond memories of those years, and he will be deeply missed. ❤️

Mike really liked his Cuban food and he was still Cyndy’s protector. We had gotten off of a cruise and was visiting. Cyndy had bruises all up and down her arms (not from me but Mike didn’t know it) from riding a buggy on one of the excursions. Mike thought I did it. We got that straightened out. He was always a protecter. I will miss him.

I have many fond memories of Mike especially riding around on his buddy, Teddy’s, motorcycle. We would ride all around North Charleston and the air base. After he got his Nova, we would ride around together just talking. Some of the rides we took our dog, Maggie, with her wearing the spike collar Mike bought her.
