Michael, rest in peace. I know your parents were there to meet you as you quickly flew up to heaven. No more tears, no more suffering. It's time to celebrate your life. Josette, I am so grateful that your brother shared you with us. I am also grateful that I have such a great relationship with my sisters and brother. You hold our family together, it's just what you do best. Denise, my yeart breaks for you. You have so many great memories and this is what you need to remember everyday. Our religion always taught us we were just "passing through" this life and it never hits home until something like this happens. Michael is an Angel now and he just got hired for a new job. Congratulations Mike, it will be a full time job watching ove all of us!! Rest in Peace.
Love, Colleen, Robert and Brianna Donnery

Uncle Michael, words can't express how much I miss you and how much you mean to me. Even though we lived far away from each other I always knew you were there for me and cared for all of us. We had some great times when you lived in Long Island and they will always remain in my memory. We had a special bond, and as your goddaughter I always kept you very close to my heart. I wish things were different now but I know you aren't suffering anymore and that is all I could ever ask for. Give grandma and grandpa a hug and a kiss for me and watch over us all. I love you so much, someday we will all be together again. Love, always and forever, Michelle.

My Michael was the love of my life. I will miss him throughout the rest of my life. He loved me, he protected me and he took care of me. I know he will always watch over me from Heaven. I want him to know that I will be fine until I can join him when it is my time. I love you Michael and you will be with me always.
Love for ever and ever your wife, Denise

Mike would often ride by with his dog and we’d wave, we’ll miss seeing him. We spoke once after missing him for awhile and we then discussed his dog’s health but he never mentioned his own. God bless.

You are such a wonderful man, so kind and caring, always putting others before yourself. We had such great long talks standing on Arabian Trail while you would be out on your bike with that "nutso" dog as you would call Ellie. We are so blessed to have you come into our lives and only regret that your time here was not longer. You will be greatly missed but we know that you are well and rewarded for your good life. Please don't worry about us or Denise or Ellie. We will all watch out for each other. We love you Michael.

    Michael,
The first time I met you I knew we would be friends. You were like a big Brother to me and I cherrish the times the four of us (Denise,Josette, you and I) had at both homes on Long Island. I never seen so much love between a Brother & Sister. She always looked up to you as did I. I seen the way you always took care of your wife and how much you loved her.I know you loved your neices and nephews and they loved you. Everytime I look at my son he reminds me of you. I always said he looks like you since he was a baby. Michelle, between tears, remembered what a great time she had when she stayed with you and Denise at your home in Bright Waters when Josette and I were working. You will truly be missed.
Say hello to your parents for me.
    Rest in peace, Brother.
    Love Jimmy

Michael, I know you are finally at peace now. You suffered so much and never ever complained. The nurses loved you and said what a great patient you were. But... no one will ever love you as much as your wife and sister do. I know Mommy and Daddy were waiting for you in Heaven, I believe that because I saw the smile on your face. I will miss calling you every time I was in a panic and miss how you always convinced me that everything would be fine. I will miss you and I will pray for you everyday. I will take care of Denise, I give you my word. I love you, rest in peace my brother. Love your sister, Josettie
