Obituary

MICHELLE ELLEN TYLUTKI
February 23, 1963 – December 12, 2020
On Saturday, December 12th we said goodbye to our sister, daughter, wife and best friend, Michelle Tylutki. Michelle, age 57, of Oak Hill, Florida, passed away suddenly from a cardiac event. Born in Keene, NY, Michelle was a twin and one of four children of Patricia Ann (Bruce) Gee and Edward Owen Gee, Sr.
Michelle married John Carlton Tylutki in Apopka, Florida on July 29th, 1995. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year. She attended Guilderland High School and Schenectady County Community College in upstate New York. Michelle worked in many areas of finance and law but specialized in homeowner association law. Early in her career she worked at the School Systems Federal Credit Union in Guilderland, New York, and most of her career was spent with the law firm of Clayton and McCulloh in Maitland, Florida. For many years she served as the Collections Manager and as a member of key staff for the law firm. Michelle also developed a niche business, Litigation Information Tracking Inc., serving the attorneys of homeowner and condominium associations. She was also a member of multiple legal associations.
Michelle lived her life helping other people and giving everything that she had to people in need. She helped people she knew and people she did not know in every way she could and epitomized the definition of selflessness. She cared deeply about animals, especially her own dog, Clarice, hunger issues and disadvantaged children. Of all the organizations and individuals she worked with, her most passionate work was with a classroom of special needs children. For nearly 20 years, she provided Christmas gifts, grocery store gift cards, and essentials to every student in the class.
Michelle had an incredibly resilient personality, she lived her life with passion, spontaneity and a deep love for her family, dear friends and humankind. She loved the outdoors and spent many memorable days and nights fishing, boating and camping with John. She was an avid online gamer and excelled at the game of darts.
Michelle is survived by her husband, John Carlton Tylutki, her father, Edward Owen Gee, Sr. and her stepmother, Carol Elizabeth Gee, her siblings Lori Ann Layden (John Michael Layden), Melanie Beth Jimenez (Raul Jimenez) and Edward Owen Gee, Jr. along with nieces and nephews Caroline Patricia Jimenez, Jacqueline Bianca Jimenez, Kelsey Marie McNeil, Sean David McNeil, Patrick Michael McNeil and Raul Antonio Gee. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lois Irene Tylutki and her fiancé, Rudy Rieken, her brother-in-law, Guy Edward Tylutki, sister-in-law Jo Ann Tylutki and nieces and nephews, Jedrek Tylutki, Zachary Burnham, Hannah Burnham, Joel Burnham and Dustin Tylutki. Michelle is pre-deceased by her mother, Patricia Ann (Bruce) Gee.
A memorial service will be planned for a future date when we can safely gather together to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to your local food pantry.

It is difficult to accept the passing of someone you knew for 25 years. Michelle was a trusted colleague and team mate. It will be a long time before I really come to grips with it. She worked hard to better the firm and took on many charitable endeavors. MET (as we affectionately called her) had a good heart and when she first came to C&M, we discussed ad nauseum of our love for children and later pets. When they say, "only the good die young," Michelle's photo has to be next to that old adage.

I miss randomly popping into Michelle's office and springing on her horrible jokes. She was tough, smart, and always straight-forward, yet she remained fiercely loyal and empathetic. We shared a love of avocados. I miss her presence, her guidance, and her light -- but remain very grateful for having known her. Michelle (MET) was a lovely woman.

Michelle was one of the most special, fantastic people I’ve ever met. She was selfless in every way, and fiercely protective of those she cared for. She was far more to me and C&M than our collection manager - she was a great friend, and is already sorely missed.

My heart breaks as I read about the loss of Michelle. She was so, so special. I am glad to have met her and honored to have been able to call her friend. She was devoted, caring and most of all... fun to be around! My thoughts and prayers go out to her Family and Friends, especially to John. May you find peace in the difficult days ahead and know that loving friends surround you. God Bless.
    Greg's (Sister) Mom,
    Kathy Vitale
