Midge and I first met in the Peace Corps where we served together in Kibi, Ghana and became friends for life. Distance separated us, but she visited me abroad in New Zealand and we met back in the U.S. in Florida and Tucson. She loved adventure and travel brought her some of that, but she also loved being a help in her local community whether it was in Africa or in Deland, Florida where she volunteered at the hospital. Her loss makes a hole in my heart that cannot be filled, but she gave me so much happiness by her friendship and the memories we shared.

We loved the time she spent with us at Amelia Place Apartments and miss seeing her walking. Our deepest sympathies to her family.
