Obituary
Mitchell Davis passed away March 16th surrounded by his family. Born in Amsterdam, NY, October 25th, 1951 son of Jack and Carolyn Davis. His childhood was filled with playing with his three brothers, tinkering with cars and driving them in the fields. He also played drums in a band with his twin brother and fellow neighborhood kids. As an adult, he worked in the family construction business where worked on building homes, textile mills, and major construction projects. He could build just about anything. After moving to Florida he became a football coach for MCYFL. He also had a passion for shooting darts, riding motorcycles, and stock car racing whether it was on TV, live, or being a part of the pit crew. He was an avid fisherman, fishing all his life no matter where he was. After retiring, he also took up painting by watching Bob Ross and would sign his paintings “DaMitchie.” He will now be able to look down and find “Sasquatch”. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Peruzzi and Kayla Davis, brother Bruce Davis, grandchildren Jamie and Antonio, an uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers Mark and Mike. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
