Obituary
Illustrious Sir Myron D. Christensen was born August 22, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan; attended Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee; and graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) in 1959 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Following graduation he fulfilled his military obligation at Lackland AFB, Texas, before going to work with NASA in the Space Program.
He married Roma Bowers on January 11, 1964 and in 1970 they moved with IBM to Burlington, Vermont for two years before being transferred back to the Orlando area where they have resided since 1972. They have two children and four grandchildren. He is a member of Chi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Casselberry.
Myron became a Master Mason in Washington Lodge #3, Burlington, Vermont, in April 1971. He received his Scottish Rite degrees in November 1971 and became a Shriner in Mount Sinai Shrine (Montpelier, VT) in January 1972. He was elected Potentate in 1988 and served the Shrine organization for the remainder of his life.
Celebration of Life Services will be hel at 3 P.M. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place Apopka, Florida. Family will be receiving guests from 2 to 3P.M.
