Obituary
Nabil Alam, also known as Bill, born on June 17, 1948, in Cairo, Egypt, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024. He was 76 years old.
Bill graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1976 with a degree in Business Administration. Four years later, he married and welcomed his first child in 1983 and his second in 1988. In pursuit of new opportunities, Bill and his wife left their comfortable life in Egypt and moved to the United States with only what they could fit in their suitcases.
Adapting to American culture, Bill embraced a variety of interests including music, cars, and fashion. His appreciation for the finer things in life was matched only by his deep love for his family. Bill enjoyed being out and about, meeting new people, and remained active in his community, volunteering at his local hospital even after his retirement.
He is survived by his son, Nader Alam, and daughter, Natalie Alam. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Tawfik and Fouad Alam, and his sister, Nadia.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
