Nancy Alice Gehres, 68, passed away peacefully at home while under hospice care on October 1, 2019.Nancy, a Daytona Beach native was born November 1,1950 to William and Edna Gehres. A Mainland High School graduate , she retired from Volusia County Library System after 48 years several years ago. She was a dedicated choir member, an avid reader and loved jigsaw puzzles, trivia, and puns. She was a member of Tomoka United Methodist Church for many years. She was always ready to travel and loved camping as well. She is survived by sisters Susan Gehres and Dottie Laswell, niece Holly Diaz and great niece Tatum Diaz, Cousins Carl and Gayle Webber, Richard and Dianne McDonald and Bob McDonald,John and Ann Gehres and other cousins.

A celebration of life is planned for November 2 at 11am at Tomoka United Methodist Church 1000 Old Tomoka Road (off Granada) Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A reception to follow.
