Obituary
Nancy Lou Brinthaupt “Brat” passed away on April 3, 2020 in Cape Coral, Florida at the age of 73. She was born on February 3, 1947 in Elmira, New York to Donald Michael McDorman and Jewel Gertrude Gilmore. Nancy “Brat”, like her husband Joe “Bug” called her, was a passionate and giving woman and she contributed to the ASPCA and to St. Judes. Nancy also had many hobbies like playing softball, she enjoyed golf, bowling, horseback riding and going to the beach.
Nancy is survived by her husband Joseph Albert Brinthaupt “Bug” of Cape Coral, Florida; her daughter and son in-law Michael and Deborah Tew (Brinthaupt) of North Fort Myers, Florida; her daughter and son in- law Charles (Chuck) Whitbeck and Julie Lynn Brinthaupt of Helen, Georgia; granddaughter Nichole and husband Thomas Bjerke of Depew, Oklahoma; grandson Jeffrie and wife Megan Tew of Cape Coral, Florida; grandson Christopher and wife Vanessa Tew of Grand Rapids, MI; and grandson Chandler Tew of Bristow, Oklahoma; she also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Nancy also leaves behind her dog Peppermint and her cats Stripe, Shea, Tabby Two Shoes, Ash and Jojo.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society of Fort Myers, Florida.
