Obituary

Nancy Jean (Quimby) Carpenter was born on August 14, 1950 and passed away on April 11, 2019 at the age of 68. Nancy was born in Moline, Illinois and moved to Central Florida in 1988. She was a Walt Disney World cast member for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her parents , Robert and Ruth Umbdenstock, and sister Sandy Neaveill. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mundy(Carpenter)Carey, son Neil Carpenter, son-in-law David Carey, daughter-in -law Robin Valentine, grandson Eric Fisette, granddaughter Mackenzie Fisette, granddaughter-in-law Andrea Barry, and great-granddaughters Aria and Lorelei.  Nancy loved the Beatles and Peter Noone. She enjoyed traveling to concerts all over the country with her “noonetic” friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Love you forever and forever, love you with all my heart, love you whenever we’re together, love you when we’re apart….I  will.

    It's so hard to lose one of our own. We enjoyed seeing her smiling face in pictures of so many Noonatic events. She will be missed but never forgotten.

    We extend our deepest condolences to Nanci's family. We enjoyed meeting & getting to know Nanci in Feb 2004 when she attended Peter Noon's "Do" and concert in Louisville, KY. Sweet Nanci will be deeply missed.

    It is still hard to believe that we won't see you at our next concert. You were the only person who had been to every single performance of Peter @ Epcot. You will be missed but we will all be thinking of you. Prayers for all of your family and friends are being said.
    I will always keep the image in my head of you feeding the giraffe at Busch Gardens. You looked so happy.

    I did not know Mrs. Carpenter personally, except through working with her daughter, Mundy. But the wonderful person Mundy is reflects on the wonderful person that raised her. What an interesting and adventurous life she led. I am grateful to have heard the stories told about this amazing person. God Bless her and her whole family. Please know that all your friends and co-workers are here for you.
