Obituary

Nancy Jean (Quimby) Carpenter was born on August 14, 1950 and passed away on April 11, 2019 at the age of 68. Nancy was born in Moline, Illinois and moved to Central Florida in 1988. She was a Walt Disney World cast member for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her parents , Robert and Ruth Umbdenstock, and sister Sandy Neaveill. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mundy(Carpenter)Carey, son Neil Carpenter, son-in-law David Carey, daughter-in -law Robin Valentine, grandson Eric Fisette, granddaughter Mackenzie Fisette, granddaughter-in-law Andrea Barry, and great-granddaughters Aria and Lorelei.  Nancy loved the Beatles and Peter Noone. She enjoyed traveling to concerts all over the country with her “noonetic” friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Love you forever and forever, love you with all my heart, love you whenever we’re together, love you when we’re apart….I  will.

    Nanci, you were the first Noonatic to welcome us into the fan club in 2001. The night in May 2003, when you held a flashlight so Peter could sign autographs in a thunderstorm in Gadsden, Al, is one of my favorite memories of you.     Nanci you were the very first Noonatic that I met after joining the fan club in 2007. You made me feel welcomed and introduced me to Peter for the first time. We loved seeing you at all the Florida shows and will miss you. My love and prayers to your family.

    Nancy. You will truly be missed by all of us noonatics.. Enjoyed so much being with you st Epcot and the WI state fair. I remember so clear that it stormed so bad and we all sat in the storm waiting for peter to come out we all had tarps on at the fair. Love and will miss seeing you st the fair and all your stories.
