Obituary

Nancy Jane DeFeo was born July 8th, 1952 to John and Nancy O’Mara in Rosedale, NY. She was one of five siblings that grew up in a good, Catholic household. She married her late husband Paul DeFeo Sr. and together they had five sons. Nancy lived her purpose through her love of family and her compassion and faith was felt by all who knew her. She leaves behind a world better then she found it and her children Paul Jr, Nicholas Sr, Dominick, Louie, Nicole, and her late son Joseph. As well as her grandchildren she loved with all her heart Kayla, Nicholas Jr, Destiny, Brianna, And Bella. She passed peacefully surrounded by those she loved on September 23rd, 2022 at the age of 70. Please join us in honoring our mothers life

    A year has passed since you left .. yet it feels like yesterday. I think of you ever day and miss you terribly… the world is very different without you in it. :(

    I met Nancy when we were 19 and working our first jobs after HS. We connected right away and have been friends ever since. We have been thru a lot together and each other's support in many times of need. Nancy was one of the strongest woman I knew. Working two jobs, raising 5 boys, who today are good men whom she was extremely proud of. She was a wonderful Mom and great friend who will truly be missed ❤️

    I am grateful I had Nancy for a friend. We met as neighbors at Oceanwalk where we both owned a condo. We shared many mornings having coffee sitting in her patio with the ocean as our view. Nancy was the glue that brought all of us together for good times. We went through good and bad times, laughed and cried. I’m sad for myself but even more sad for hers boys and their amazing loved ones. Their will never be another soul like Nancy Jane.

    Our deepest condolences on your loss. Nancy was a good friend of our mother Grace who passed away 3 1/2 months ago she very good to our mother especially while she was in hospice and that is something we will never forget .may she rest in peace.

    Nancy was great person who loved her family more than anything in life. She worked for me at Westinghouse/Siemens and she also worked at night to make ends meet for her sons. Two full time jobs to pay the bills. She was so exhausted most days that she would lay down under my desk and sleep for her lunch hour. Sometimes I would forget to wake her up.
    If Nancy was your friend she would do anything for you. She was there for me and my family when my son was killed by a drunk driver.
    I will always love Nancy she was wacky most of the time but always a true friend. Rest In Peace my friend.
