Obituary

Nancy S. Kennedy, 89, of Ocala, FL passed away August 31, 2021. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and was retired from the Bellehaven Retirement Home of Quakertown, PA. Mrs. Kennedy was a Practical Nurse and EMT for much of her younger years, she worked at Spinnerstown General Store, Lenopy High School as a Cafeteria Aide and returned to the medical field as a CNA where she then retired after a fulfilling career in the medical field. Mrs. Kennedy was an avid Bingo player, animal enthusiast, loved gardening, thoroughly enjoyed family functions and going to the Big Lots car shows with her husband, Tom. She is survived by her brother, Robert Sonnheim, children, Thomas H. Kennedy of Ocala, FL and Robert J. Kennedy (Mara) of Quakertown, PA and step-child Sherrie Poole (Larry) of Warrington, PA; Grandchildren, Thomas W. Kennedy, Tiffany (Justin) Mohs, Tracey Kennedy, Taylor (Taylor) Stevens and Jacob and Samuel Kennedy, Mathew Crowell, Keith (Sarah) Crowell, Dawn (Andy) Lutz; Great grandchildren, Peyton, Thomas, Anthony, Brianna, Ellie, Alexis, Maxwell and Katherine. Visitation will be held at Baldwin Brothers’ Heritage Place Chapel (11250 SW 93rd Ct. Rd. Ocala 352-236-7813) on Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 9 AM with Funeral Service at 10 AM. Final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL where she will be laid to rest with her husband of 60 years, Thomas Kennedy.
