Obituary
Nancy Lee (Filiano) Marchisin 84, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Tidewell Hospice Home in Venice, FL. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Somerville, NJ, Nancy grew up in Raritan as a child. She lived most of her adult life in New Jersey and in Pennsylvania before moving to Port Charlotte in 2021.
Nancy was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1958. She worked multiple positions at various companies in credit collections retiring from Degussa-Huls Inc.
During her free time, Nancy was involved with various committees and clubs. She enjoyed bowling, playing games, cards and her time spent at ActivAge Senior Center.
Most importantly, Nancy enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She cherished the time with her Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Anthony Filiano. Three sisters, Shirley Gambino, Barbara “Cookie” DeLuca and Geraldine “Gerry” Cicero. Former husband, Ronald Marchisin.
Nancy is survived by her children, Michele and Norm Kirkpatrick, Renee Marchisin, Ronny and Jackie Marchisin. Grandchildren, Christina and Tim, Colleen and Carmen, Bryan and Petya, Brittany and Rich, Josh, Jeremy. Great-Grandchildren, Odin, Theo, Greyson, Josephine, Layla and Liam. Two brothers, Anthony “Butch” Filiano, Louis “Louie” Filiano and his wife Tanya and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Nancy’s name to the Alzheimer Foundation “ALZ.org” or any organization of your choice. The family will be considering a celebration of life sometime in the near future.
