Nancy Monaghan, age 68, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on December 25, 2021, in Daytona Beach, FL.
Nancy (mom, momma, GiGi, Aunt Nancy, the General) is survived by her daughter and son in law Heather and Mackey, of Daytona Beach, FL; her son and daughter in law Jeremiah and Leeann, of Daytona Beach, FL; her grandchildren Brandon (Ryry), Andrew (LaToya), Desirae (Steven), Alex, Paiten, Jameson, and Brantlee; her great-grandchildren Savanna, Summer, Sarryah, BJ, and Alaiya(AKA: Laylay); her sisters Sue and Sherry, her brother Robbie, a multitude of nieces and nephews whom she loved so very much, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her mom, of Mobile, AL; her dad of Pensacola, FL; and her sister Brenda, of Atlanta, GA.
Nancy was born on July 3,1953 in Pensacola, FL, to parents Sybil and Robert Bunch. She moved to Daytona Beach shortly after graduating high school. Nancy was a truly phenomenal woman who loved her family with all her heart, keeping her arms and heart wide open for all, it didn’t matter who you were or where you came from, she loved you deeply and truly. She was beautiful, compassionate, heroic, independent, and a love-filled woman; never letting life’s ups and downs keep her in a rut. There are no words to express how special she was in our lives and how much she will be missed by all who knew her. We will continue to celebrate her life through visiting her favorite spot, the beach and carrying on her passion for the Christmas season.

We will have a celebration/get together in honor of her in the summer.

I remember as a little girl, my mother, Sherry, packing up everything, selling our house to move to Daytona. You welcomed us! We all lived together for several years. I’m happy for those memories and I’m very sad you’re gone. You always looked at bright side of life and always saw the best in people. You will be surely missed! I love you always.. Until we see each other again, rest in my heaven.
