Obituary

Nancy Tynes Sparks, 78, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away March 29, 2012. She was born May 7, 1933 in Russellville, Kentucky where she attended school and later attended Georgetown College. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. In earlier years she had a passion for gardening and was known for her lovely perennial gardens. She retired from JC Penney where she was manager of the jewelry department. Since moving to Florida in 2001, she had been an active member of the Coronado Bridge Club in New Smyrna Beach where she served as secretary and leaves many friends. Her memory is cherished by her sister, Patricia (Tom) Wright of Russellville, Kentucky, her children, Joy (Norm) Rademacher of Conway, Massachusetts, Daniel Tynes Sparks of St. Louis, Missouri, Lisa (Jim) Engelbrecht of Reading, Massachusetts, grandchildren Kurt Rademacher of Baldwinsville, New York, Heidi Rademacher of Northampton, Massachusetts, Kristen and Leah Sparks of St. 10 uis, Missouri and Andrew and William Engelbrecht of Boston, Massachusetts, great grandchildren, Jagger and Lorelei Rademacher, her aunt Ellen Pace, uncle Charles Welborn and several cousins. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.StJude.org.

    Hi, Joy Dan and Lisa,
    I am with you guys spiritually and praying for peace in each of your hearts at this sad time. Wish I could be there so we could reminisce about the great family times we all had (if we could remember back that far) My favorite memory of Nancy is her funny sense of humor. So glad she had all of you to comfort her.Love you all!
