Our family is so sorry for your loss... I had the pleasure of meeting & getting to know Nelson at Brookdale, during my visits in town to see my Dad... It filled our families hearts to know how kind he was to everyone, and how he really looked after his 'buds'.. meeting Mister the last few visits was priceless... and I now know he know longer needs someone to help him escape & find a 'get away' car... He was a very special man - please accept my sincere condolences - may your family find peace in knowing he is with your Mom & others...

We had the pleasure of meeting Nelson and his dog Mister while visiting my father at Brookdale. He was an excellent companion for my dad (Rich Daley) while he was there. Sadly, my father passed away on June 18th. I wish you all peace and offer condolences on behalf of my family.

Bonnie & Kevin... Amanda and I stopped by Brookdale today to drop a card and thank them for all they did for Rich Daley, our Dad, Nelson's buddy, over the past five months. We were sad to hear that Nelson had passed. We're also sad we missed the visitation yesterday! We sure would have been there to pay our respects if we knew. Nelson would always look over Dad, have a report for us when we arrived on how he was doing, and genuinely cared for him. We loved hanging out at mealtime or out on the porch. We learned about his time in the Navy over Memorial Day weekend, March Madness was fun, generally we just chewed the fat and made jokes. We enjoyed his sense of humor and of course, his little buddy, Mister.

Here's a link to Dad's obituary. I feel they are up to some kind of shenanigans in Heaven.
