My coach, my mentor , my friend. Great guy, talented guy, funny man.
He was respected by all at EHHS. Enjoyed playing the game of baseball, Nick Jackson style.

May he rest in peace with Giardi, Wise, Myers and all the other fine men who coached us into manhood.

    My best to the family.

Thanks, Mr. Jackson. You did good.

This was sent to the Family from Cynthia Wallace A friend of Carol & a published Christian poet.

Our Greatest Hope is that we'll meet again
For from this world he did transcend.
Now resting on those golden shores to laugh and love forevermore.
Now once again, he'll play as young.
Reliving all the thing he's done.
And look back on the times he scored and ran the bases and hit the board.
So as he gathers one and all and lines them up both great and small.
A heavenly team in celestial halls.
I an almost hear him shouting, "Let's play ball!!"

My deepest sympathies to your family. I played for Coach Jackson for 3 years and was co-capt. of the 1970 team. He was such a great guy and one of the best coaches I played for in both HS and college. He was a real student of the game and I have thought of him often. He certainly helped me become a better player and person After leaving EHHS, I carried both his knowledge and spirit with me as a player and a coach. I am so glad to hear he had such a long, rich and wonderful life.
