Obituary
Nigel Billy Kumar (formerly Naresh Kumar), 71, of Orlando, Florida, USA, passed away on August 6th of 2020 surrounded by family.
He was born to parents Ram Das Gupta Kumar and Swarna Lata Gupta Kumar, just as the day was breaking on January 22, 1949 in Delhi, India.
He was a scholar and graduated from Calcutta Boys School in 1967 with a Diploma from University of Cambridge; University of Calcutta in 1971 with a B.S. with Honors in Physics; Xavier’s College in 1973 with a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management; an International Correspondence program in 1969 with a Diploma in Short Story Writing & Freelance Journalism; The British Institutes in 1973 with a Diploma in Export Marketing; and University of Michigan in 1982 with Advanced Business & Strategic Planning.
Nigel Kumar was an entrepreneur and founded numerous companies. The primary one is where he was the Founder, Chairman and CEO, 1984 to 2020 of Bianca Renee International & OneWorld Industries, and its Member Companies, USA & Overseas. He was a visionary with a gift for finding opportunities in niche markets and specialized in design and furnishings + supplies for hotels, offices, public buildings, dining & entertainment on an international level. Nigel Kumar a Servant to God and his devotion to fulfilling God’s work was a major tenant in his life. He was a man on many missions with a level of dedication, passion and a work ethic that made him unforgettable to whoever was lucky enough to meet him.
He was married to Malvina Kardos in 1977 had four daughters. Nigel Kumar is survived by his daughters, Melita Larissa Kumar, Sofia Vanessa Kumar, Jasmine Kumar VanDenBerghe, Bianca Renee Kumar and six grandchildren. He remarried Inessa Gvozdova in 2005, who survives him. He is also survived by eleven siblings, Sunita “Baby”, Surya, Kamlesh “Munnie”, Virendra “Pup”, Meenu “Goodie”, Shobha “Tuntun”, Sheela “Chommi”, Rajesh “Buttu”, Jaishree “Puppy”, Sonia “Dolly”, and Jugnu “Pauli” of India. He was predeceased by his father, Ram Kumar Das Gupta (1914-1989) and mother, Swarna Lata Gupta (1931-2000). He was the son, brother, husband, father and uncle who that would do anything for his family no matter what it took. Nigel Kumar loved and cherished the relationships of his large extended family and will be affectionately remembered and deeply missed by all.
