Celebration of Life for Obed Lee Pittman, 90, Edgewater FL who died Monday, June 28, 2010 will be 6:30 PM Wednesday at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL. The family will receive friends from 4 until service time. Committal will be at Riverside Cemetery in Macon, GA.
Lee was born in Macon, GA and served 22 years in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer damage control specialist. Following his career in the Navy he worked as a locksmith for Georgia Tech University for 20 years. He enjoyed travelling with his wife, eating breakfast everyday at Denny’s and collecting old locks and keys.
He leaves to cherish his memory children Carol Ann (Rick) Fowler of Jacksonville, FL, Bobby (Cindy) Pittman of Orange Park, FL, Cathy (Greg) Keller of Daytona Beach FL, Richard (Denise) Kiker of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Elizabeth Ashley McFall, Kyle Lee Pittman, Courtney Alyson Kiker and Stephen Andrew Kiker. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Cora Pittman, grandchildren Chris Fowler and Eric Fowler.
