Owen M. Rowlands 1954 – 2021

Belleview, FL / Holland Patent, NY – Owen M. Rowlands, 66, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2021 at his home in Florida surrounded by his family. He was born in Rome on November 13, 1954, the son of Owen and Jean (Barnicoat) Rowlands and was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. Owen was a carpenter and all around handyman. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Deployed Resources, Rome, NY. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Owen is survived by his wife, Tracy of Belleview, FL;  children Owen (Tonya), Morgan (Curt) Harrington, and Nathan; step-children Allison (Anthony) McKinney,  Aimee Clark, and Andy (Kaylyn) Clark;  and eight cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his father Owen, brothers Chuck (Jane) and John (Shawn) and their families. He was predeceased by his mother Jean.

    Very sorry about Owens passing. We were high school friends. We were on the track team he was very athletic. When I think of the really good people I've known in my life Owens is one of them.
