Pamela M. Sorokin passed away peacefully at home on February 20th in The Villages, FL. By her side was Elyse Rook, her best friend and companion. She survives her.
Pamela was the daughter of John and Irene Sorokin of Grand Blanc, MI.

She was a Social Worker for Grand Blanc Schools in Michigan for many years, along with moonlighting at Nursing Homes as a geriatric S.W.
She received her Masters Degree from Michigan State University in S.W. and loved the Green and White MSU Spartans and College Football.
Her survivors include her sister, Janice Jackson, 2 nephews, Wolfe and John Jackson (Amanda), 3 nieces, Abbey Cowen, Emily Cowen, and Katherine Cowen all from Grand Blanc, MI, four great nieces, Eugenia Jackson, Lorea Jackson, Brooke Jackson, and Allison Jackson, and one great nephew, Lowell Jackson.
Two sisters preceded her in death, Lynn Hadden, and Melanie Cowen, one brother in law, John Cowen, also Linnea Jackson, wife of Wolfe Jackson. Pamela had many friends in Michigan and in Silver Shores, Key Largo, FL. And a very dear friend Barbara Kellogg-Zehnder, of Zurich, Switzerland.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Michigan this summer.
Pamela's presence had glorious impact; comforting, genuine, happy, hopeful, wise and much more. Friendship with Pamela was effortless! I showed up and she flawlessly molded our FOREVER relationship. Pamela shared Elyse with us and I treasure being a friend to each. Thank you, Pamela Sorokin, for our loving friendship. God blessed me with YOU, past, present and future.
Condolences to her family
So sorry for your loss,
