Patricia Ann (Bobo) O’Neal, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 3. Born on September 22, 1940, Patricia was a lifelong resident of the Umatilla area. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bobby; son Bud (Kim) O’Neal of Umatilla, daughter Susan O’Neal of Kissimmee, nephew Rick Inmon of Inverness, grandchildren Jacob (Kayla) O’Neal of Umatilla, Travis (Brittney) O’Neal of High Springs, Rachael Leibolt of Ohio, Amy (Andrew) Shepherd of Sorrento, Melanie (Yoshua) Delgado of Texas, and Jennifer Leibolt of Texas; great grandchildren Nora, Tanner, Leanna, Seth and Mallory. She is preceded in death by her parents Bryan Bobo and Kathryn (Rigdon) Bobo Williams, son David O’Neal, sister Sandra Inmon and grandson Brian O’Neal.

Patricia had a servant’s heart. As a homemaker she loved a good deal, decorating for the seasons and ensuring everyone was well fed. She was a caregiver to over 200 children throughout the years as she babysat in her home. After working outside the home for a while, she returned to babysitting to take care of her grandchildren. She shared her mother’s knack for cooking vast amounts of food for family gatherings or those in need of comfort food. She was an avid reader and loved visiting the beach. Patricia and Bobby traveled the world together enjoying many trips over the years, both domestic and abroad, by land, air and sea.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation in Tavares. In lieu of flowers, please honor Patricia’s love for children by donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
