Obituary

Patricia “Pat” Lenzen-Nix-Clem of Winter Park, Florida passed away peacefully on July 23, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Marian Lenzen, her first husband Rubin “Cliff” Nix, sisters Helen Kerwin Bishop and Gloria Beale and brothers John, Donald and Richard Lenzen.

She is survived by her loving husband William “Bill” Clem, daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth(Russell) Haynes, son and daughter-in-law Robert(Anna) Nix, daughter and son-in-law Nancy (Dan) Clem-Johnson, and step-sons Holland and Paul Clem, her grandchildren Cody Haynes(Amanda), Lindsey Haynes(Martin), Jennifer Vocks(Jerry), Jessica(Shawn) Naumann as well as her great-grandchildren Abi, Bel, Max, Ben, and Zakk and her sisters Lois Timbes King (Gary) and Carol Kobi (Steve) and brother Robert Lenzen (Janet) plus a large extended family of nieces and nephews who adored their “AuntMama”.

Pat grew up in Apopka, Florida, where she was a cheerleader at Apopka High School, graduating in 1957. She worked in banking until she became a mom in 1964. She eventually returned to banking and retired in 1993. She and her husband Bill traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. She loved to read and play cards and would often entice people with one of her home cooked meals for an evening of card play. She loved spending time at the beach with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was known as the Lenzen Matriarch, planning several family reunions over the years. Her family was everything to her and her close friends weren’t just friends they were incorporated into that family. Her home was open to anyone, anytime, she loved to entertain, plan celebrations, have family get-togethers, and her generosity knew no limits.

A Celebration of Life for Pat will be on October 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dubsdread Country Club Ballroom, 549 Par Avenue, Orlando, Florida for family and friends.
